The Green Bay Packers ended the month of September on a high note as they get a shutout win against the Buffalo Bills. What were the three big takeaways from a Week 4 win?

Breathe everyone. It wasn’t a pretty win by any means, but the Green Bay Packers are back in the win column after Week 4. For the first time since 2008, the Packers shut out an opponent. It didn’t take long for the Packers to take control of the game. Yes, they were playing the Buffalo Bills, but they had momentum coming into the game after upsetting a good Vikings team.

We finally saw the Aaron Rodgers-Jimmy Graham connection for a touchdown as well. He was robbed of a touchdown a couple of weeks ago against the Vikings.

The game was held down by the defense, though. It’s been a while since we’ve been able to say that. After the two touchdown drives, the defense took control and held the Bills in check. Jaire Alexander finally recorded the first interception of his NFL career too. A “roughing the passer” call in the Vikings game negated his first interception.

Ha-Ha Clinton Dix recorded his third interception in as many games too. His ball-hawking ability has certainly improved this year. Coming up on a new contract this offseason, Clinton-Dix will be looking to get paid.

Overall, it was nice to get a win after the mediocre performance last week against the Redskins. The Packers have a favorable schedule coming up before the tough stretch starts after the bye week.

Here are the big takeaways from a 22-0 win for Green Bay.
