31. New York Jets (26)

Ever since their epic surprise win on the road in Week 1, it’s been a rough couple of weeks for the New York Jets, as the team is coming off another tough loss, this time to the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road. From a realistic perspective, there weren’t many football fans that were giving the Jets even the slightest chance in Week 4 since they just seemed to be way overmatched against the Jaguars, which they were for the most part.

Give Sam Darnold credit since the rookie quarterback field to record a single turnover against one of the league’s top defenses, but finishing a contest with just 167 passing yards simply isn’t good enough in a game like this one. The only chance a rebuilding team like the Jets is going to have against a serious playoff contender in the Jaguars is if they produce points, and New York could barely get anything going until it was already too late in the second half.

Then again, when looking at how the focus of this season is basically to provide Darnold with as much experience as possible under center, all of this learning will hopefully pay off for the young quarterback in the long run. New York has spent years searching for the right quarterback, and now that Darnold is officially part in the mix, they can afford to be patient for a little while longer.
