2018 stat-line: 6 receptions, 63 yards, 2 touchdowns
ESPN ownership: 10.6 percent

Another week of shallow tight end options sees the arrival of Cameron Brate to waiver-wire targets, despite him being on a bye week for week five. Brate’s appeal comes after it was revealed fellow tight end O.J. Howard sprained his MCL and would be out at least two weeks, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Howard, who emerged as a solidified fantasy tight end, will now be sidelined and will see his targets directed towards Brate, a player who’s been able to score in the last two weeks.

After the bye week, Brate and the Bucs will travel to Atlanta for a divisional matchup with the Falcons. Atlanta allowed four receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown to Tyler Eifert this past week before Eifert broke his right ankle. Atlanta has found themselves in fairly high-scoring games thus far, something Brate could benefit from.

Defense

Tennessee Titans at Buffalo Bills

The Titans have run into their fair share of tough offenses, ranging from a Carson Wentz-led Eagles team to a Texan team that pairs Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins. Regardless, Tennessee has forced a turnover in all four weeks thus far, and added a touchdown against the Dolphins in Week 1.

Week 5 pits the Titans against a Buffalo Bills team that simply isn’t scary. LeSean McCoy is dealing with a rib injury, but has yet to be effective even at full health. The Bills continue to start rookie quarterback Josh Allen, who has a mere 53.4 completion percentage, along with four interceptions to only two touchdowns. Allen is still young and going through his struggles, as the Titans should capitalize on young, turnover-prone quarterback this week.
