Buffalo Bills (1-3): D

Head coach Sean McDermott must really, really love Nathan Peterman. After nearly costing his team the playoffs in his first season as the head coach of the Buffalo Bills by playing Peterman, he went back to him to start the 2018 season.

Again, Peterman proved he’s simply not ready to be a starter in the NFL and quickly he was yanked for Josh Allen. The No. 7 overall pick out of Wyoming is a talented kid with a high ceiling, but he’s also incredibly raw. Still, him playing now could be good for the Bills as he’s getting his experience, and despite his flaws, he looks better than Peterman.

With that being said, this team is a mess. They don’t have great receivers, LeSean McCoy is wondering why he didn’t get the ball enough in Week 4, and the defense has a lot of holes.

The one thing they have on their resume in 2018 that keeps this season from being an “F” though is their huge road win against the Minnesota Vikings. In Week 3, the Bills went into Minnesota and took down the heavily-favored Vikings by a score of 27-6.

Allen looked competent with his arms and legs and the defense made life hard on Kirk Cousins of Minnesota. Unfortunately, they followed that one up with a stinker in Week 4. They were shut out by the Green Bay Packers and fell to 1-3 on the season. There’s a lot of room to improve here.
