The Week 4 edition of the 2018 NFL Quarterback Power Rankings sees another young player stand out as Mitch Trubisky had a breakout game for the Bears
Another week is in the books and we have another young star breaking out as Mitchell Trubisky had himself a game. His performance is sure to shake up our NFL Quarterback Power Rankings, but even more importantly, he silenced many of the doubters by tossing six touchdowns in a rout of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
We also saw some other players come back down to earth as Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills was unable to sustain the success he had in Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings and Baker Mayfield looked like a rookie with four turnovers as he lost his first start for the Cleveland Browns.
What was probably the most upsetting though was seeing the magical run of Ryan Fitzpatrick come to an end. He had been wizard-like in the start to the season, but the past two weeks he looked like a journeyman quarterback. He was benched in favor of Jameis Winston, and the FitzMagic era came to an end.
Another era, however, only grew. A Monday Night Football game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos ended with Patrick Mahomes leading his Chiefs to a comeback win. He’s been fantastic all season and this was the first time he was tested.
With all that being said, we jump into our Week 4 edition of the 2018 NFL Quarterback Power Rankings and see who is standing atop the mountain of impressive gun-slingers.
