Here are 20 bold predictions for football fans to consider heading into NFL Week 5 of the 2018 season.

With the first month of the 2018 season officially in the books, it’s crazy to think that NFL Week 5 has officially arrived, as football fans are beginning to see a better picture of which teams are contenders and which are actually pretenders. And while there will certainly be plenty of interesting topics worth discussing over the next few days, the argument can be made that nothing will top the excitement surrounding Drew Brees heading into Monday night.

One can only imagine the kind of celebrating that will be taking place that night for the New Orleans Saints if Brees ends up recording 201 yards through the air to break Peyton Manning’s record of being the all-time passing leader, which would be quite the accomplishment.

While Manning has always been viewed as one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game of football, Brees is arguably right up there with him, and the fact that he’s on the verge of this milestone will back that statement up.

When looking at how Brees continues to find ways to still be effective for a quarterback his age, all eyes will be on the veteran come Monday night wit the intention of history being made, although nothing is guaranteed when it comes to the NFL.

Only time will tell when it comes to whether this record ends up happening for Brees when the Saints host the Washington Redskins in what is expected to be a tough NFC battle. Including what to expect from Brees, here are 20 bold predictions for football fans to consider heading into Week 5 to keep the excitement of the 2018 season well and alive.
