3. Cousins torches Eagles with four touchdowns

Revenge will be in full swing when the Vikings travel to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles in a rematch of the NFC Championship from last January with different circumstances this time around. Not only will the Eagles be rolling with a healthy Carson Wentz over Nick Foles, but also the Vikings will have a different quarterback under center in Kirk Cousins, who signed with the team in free agency.

So far, Minnesota hasn’t exactly been living up to the Super Bowl hype when looking at their 1-2-1 record over the first four games, but Sunday’s game could work in their favor when taking into consideration how familiar Cousins is with his former NFC East rivals. Keep in mind that Cousins used to face Philadelphia twice a year, and when it comes to playing in that hostile environment, he’s all too familiar with what it takes to play well at Lincoln Financial Field.

Minnesota didn’t invest all of that money into Cousins just to be sitting with one win heading into Week 5, and one can only imagine the concern if the Vikings end up losing another game before the middle of October. But if Cousins ends up shining against the Eagles, the Vikings will be in much better shape.
