16. Hopkins finishes with three-touchdown day

After weeks of frustration, the Houston Texans finally managed to earn their first win this past Sunday during an overtime win over the Indianapolis Colts, although this game easily could have ended in a tie if it wasn’t for a questionable decision by Frank Reich. Even more frustrating, each of the three losses by the Texans to start off the year happened to come by single digits, but at least their win over the Colts will hopefully be the start of a hot streak.

Last year, Houston was one of the biggest victims of the injury bug after losing both Deshaun Watson and J.J. Watt to season-ending injuries, but with both players fully healthy in 2018, the team was hoping to get back on the winning track. While Watt has always been the heart and soul of the defense, Watson seemed to be the answer the Texans spent years waiting for at quarterback after exploding on to the scene as a rookie.

One of the main reasons why Watson was so successful as a rookie was due to having a reliable weapon to work with in DeAndre Hopkins. And when seeing how the wideout already has 30 catches on the year with two trips into the end zone, imagine if Hopkins managed to top his touchdown total during Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.
