After the first quarter of the season is behind us, we look at five NFL Trade Ideas for teams to consider making as we enter Week 5 of the 2018 Season

In recent seasons, the NFL Trade deadline has started to come alive again. For years, teams just didn’t make trades. For whatever reason, roster moves for football teams just seemed to consist of releasing players and signing free agents.

Lately, there has been a shift in this area and it’s great for fans as it adds another area of excitement. For instance, we saw some big names switch teams last season.

One was running back Jay Ajayi. He suddenly was no longer welcome with the Miami Dolphins, so he was sent to the Philadelphia Eagles where he was able to hoist the Lombardi Trophy with his new team.

An even bigger move came when the New England Patriots sent Jimmy Garoppolo to the San Francisco 49ers for him to become their new franchise quarterback. That was the big move that got everyone excited and for the Niners, it led them to a 5-0 finish after beginning the season 1-10. There were several other smaller trades that happened which included players like Kelvin Benjamin and Marcell Dareus changing teams.

All that being said, it wouldn’t be surprising to once again see some moves this season as the Oct. 30 trade deadline approaches. With that still a ways off, we take a look at five teams who should consider making a trade in Week 5.
