New Orleans Saints: 3 Players to watch vs. Redskins in Week 5
The New Orleans Saints look to continue their hot streak into Week 5 when they take on the Washington Redskins. Be sure to keep your eye on these three guys.
After a shaky few weeks, there is still hope for the New Orleans Saints. Following some questionable performances, they put together an excellent second half against the New York Giants. Thankfully, they came out on top and look to be turning the page on the beginning half of the season.
Heading into Week 5, the Saints are slowly making their way back to the top of power rankings and the team is coming together. On Monday Night Football, they will host the Washington Redskins and there are a lot of storylines heading into this game. Most notably, it will be Adrian Peterson’s return to New Orleans after the Saints traded him last year.
It adds an extra layer to the game, in addition to the return of Mark Ingram after a four-game suspension. If that wasn’t enough, fans of the Saints and general fans of Drew Brees will watch to see if Brees takes the lead from Peyton Manning for the NFL’s all-time passing yards ever.
Add in playing on Monday night in primetime and it’s something to look forward to. For both teams, it’s a must-win situation as they want to secure their place in the division. For the Saints especially, it’s their chance to hopefully take the lead in the NFC South. If this game is anything like their meeting last year, you won’t want to miss it.
Before the game gets here, let’s look at three Saints players to keep your eye on in Week 5.
