2. Drew Brees

Drew Brees is at the top of his game right now. Everyone’s talking about him and ESPN even dubbed it “Drew Brees Week.” As Saints fans, every week is Drew Brees week and his performance since the season opener have been unabashedly spectacular. With one record in the books, he’s looking to break another.

Looking back at Week 4, Brees wasn’t mind-blowing. He completed 18 of his 32 passes, threw for 217 yards and finished the game with no touchdowns and interceptions. It was generally an uneventful game for Brees and the offense, unless we’re talking about Alvin Kamara.

However, Brees did what he needed to do to win and that’s all that matters. Heading into Week 5 though, there’s a ton of buzz around him. As noted in the intro, fans of all teams who enjoy Brees will definitely tune in. All eyes are going to be on Brees and his quest to surpass Peyton Manning’s record as the NFL’s all-time passing yardage leader.

Hopefully, Brees will win the honor at home and he hopes for the same thing. The only thing that will hold him back is himself. Last week against the Giants is a perfect example of that. Either way, Brees is worth watching this week especially as he continues his path to NFL glory.

Watching Brees is always a treat, but this week proves to be even more special!
