1. Mark Ingram

If there’s one person who can upstage Drew Brees, it’s Mark Ingram. Earlier this offseason, the Saints announced that Ingram would be serving a four-game suspension as he tested positive for a banned substance in the NFL. With Week 4 officially over, Ingram is ready to get suited up and step back into his role in the Saints offense.

After a shaky few weeks, the Saints are probably glad to have him back and Ingram is happy to be back. Heading into week 5, everyone is going to be watching Ingram but there are a few key things you should be looking for. First, does Ingram fit as seamlessly into the offense as he did before? That’s going to be huge as the Saints will be counting on him to make an impact quickly.

Secondly, be sure to watch if Ingram plays as well as last season. It’s going to be a telltale sign if Ingram will earn his place in the back committee. If he can’t keep up including his run game and catching passes, it’s going to be a long season. Lastly, watch to see if Ingram has the same chemistry with Brees and Kamara. If he doesn’t, then it could be spell disaster.

If Ingram fits back into the offense though, then the Saints become even scarier. The Redskins will have their hands full with both Kamara and Ingram on the field. With the team on a hot streak too, there’s a lot of excitement around the Saints again!
