Broncos vs. Jets: Is it Groundhog Day for New York?
What a difference a week makes, or does it? It seems like a mirror image of the Week 4 matchup as the Jets take on the Broncos. The only difference is the Jets are at home.
Is Bill Murray on the sidelines for the New York Jets? It sure does feel like Groundhog Day for them. The Denver Broncos come into town off a tough loss with a tough defense. Where have we heard this story? For New York, the story is the same as Week 4. The only difference is that they’re at home.
Denver is coming in foaming at the mouth, because they feel they should’ve beaten Kansas City. On top of that, they feel the officials missed a call that had a role in costing them the game.
Sam Darnold looks like a rookie, as expected. Also, the offensive line can’t protect or open holes for the running game.
On the other side, Case Keenum isn’t living up to his contract either. He opened the season with three touchdown passes, but has none since, and his overthrew an open receiver on what could’ve been a game-winning touchdown pass.

Prediction
This game is a matter of will on defense and who imposes theirs. It’s also a matter of which quarterback makes the fewest mistakes and doesn’t turn the ball over, because neither is playing lights out at the moment.
It’s an unfortunate situation for the Jets, because the Broncos are going to play out of their minds in this game. Expect the pass rush to get to Darnold and get to him frequently. He will find himself on his back a lot in this game.
Also, the Broncos have a good offensive line that will give Keenum the time he needs to find his receivers, and they will burn this Jets pass rush. This game won’t be close, and may be over by the end of the third quarter, much like the game in Jacksonville.
Final Score: Denver 38, New York 13
