27. Atlanta Falcons (18)

This season just keeps getting worse for the Atlanta Falcons. After being the only NFC team to return to the postseason following 2017, they looked to once again be a contender. Sure, they play in an incredibly tough division, but the Falcons are an offensive powerhouse with a surging defense. That defense though has been beaten up in 2018.

Both Keanu Neal and Deion Jones have been lost for the season and that’s had a huge effect on their play. Also missing in this game was defensive tackle Grady Jarrett. It proved to be too much for them to overcome as the Pittsburgh Steelers dropped 41 points on the Dirty Birds.

They couldn’t stop the run or the pass as Ben Roethlisberger had 250 yards passing and three touchdowns and James Conner rumbled for 110 yards and two more touchdowns.

On offense, they had problems as well, with most coming from the running game. Matt Ryan still had 285 yards with no interceptions and hit Mohamed Sanu for a long score. As for the backs though, no one got going. Devonta Freeman ended up with 32 yards and Tevin Coleman had 15. As a team, they were good for 62 yards on 19 rushes. Now at 1-4, Atlanta is falling out of contention fast.
