The 2018 NFL trade deadline is just around the corner, and the Minnesota Vikings may have their sights set on making some mid-season adjustments.

It’s been a rollercoaster ride of a 2018 season for the Minnesota Vikings so far. After entering the year among the favorites to win Super Bowl 53, they’ve stumbled out of the gates to the tune of a 2-2-1 record.

If they’re not content with their current roster (a definite possibility), the Vikings could decide to test the market ahead of the 2018 NFL trade deadline. Seeing as they have a number of holes in the starting lineup, it wouldn’t come as a huge surprise for general manager Rick Spielman to make a move before or on Oct. 30.

There are a couple of concerns to consider here. The main one is that the Vikings currently only have about $2.8 million in cap space (via Spotrac.com), which could limit their trade options. However, with a couple of trade chips of their own to dangle, I’m sure they could figure something out if the right deal found its way onto Spielman’s desk.

Either way, it just makes sense to consider some potential targets if the Vikings become buyers.
