Top signal-callers overcame adversity as the No.1 overall pick showed his worth. How does it all play out in our Week 6 NFL Power Rankings for quarterbacks?

Week 5 is done as we quickly run through this season and offer you up another look at the most important position in the game with our NFL Power Rankings of every starting quarterback. This past weekend was a fun one and we saw a couple of big players go through some adversity.

Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs threw his first two picks of the season as he was tasked with maneuvering through the stout Jacksonville Jaguars defense. He still got his team a one-sided win, which was welcome for them after their game in Week 4 came down to the wire.

Jared Goff also had some issues as the Seattle Seahawks gave his Los Angeles Rams all they could handle. Goff had two picks as well, although one was a Hail Mary at the half.

The Rams also pulled off the win, but their game was much more of a nail-biter. Others made moves, like Baker Mayfield, who orchestrated an overtime win against the favored Baltimore Ravens.

With all that being said, we look in at our Week 6 edition of the 2019 NFL Quarterback Power Rankings.

32. C.J. Beathard, San Francisco 49ers (32)

The San Francisco 49ers lost to the Arizona Cardinals, surrendering the first win to the Red Birds. While C.J. Beathard did have 349 yards passing, he was instrumental in the loss. Beathard had four turnovers — two picks and two fumbles — that were costly for the struggling Niners.

31. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills (30)

With Josh Allen, you have to take the bad as well as the good. While the Buffalo Bills got the win — thanks in large part to a really good run out of Allen — they had just 70 yards passing — which is the bad part of Allen. He’s got a rocket arm, but the decision making and accuracy don’t match it just yet.
