12. Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks (12)

Another loss for the Seattle Seahawks, but this time they at least lost to a 5-0 team and made it a game. Russell Wilson was clean with the ball but completed just 13 passes and had just under 200 yards. It was good enough to put 31 points on L.A., but the Rams still got the win.

11. Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles (11)

Once again, Carson Wentz had a good game but was unable to get the win for the Philadelphia Eagles. This time, they fell victim to the Minnesota Vikings by two points. Wentz still had 311 yards and two touchdowns in defeat.

10. Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings (13)

Now we’re starting to see why the Minnesota Vikings gave Kirk Cousins $84 million guaranteed. The veteran quarterback was 30-of-37 for 301 yards with a touchdown in their defeat of the defending champion Eagles. The connection he has with Adam Thielen is special as the wideout is on a record pace right now. The 10 receptions and 91 yards for Stefon Diggs shows that Cousins isn’t clicking with just one player either.

9. Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers (9)

It continues to be hard to figure out Cam Newton. He has his team at 3-1 so they’re doing fine, but his passing is up and down. He did top 200-yards this week, but also added two picks. Newton is great with his arm and legs, but if he could find some consistency, he would be unstoppable.

8. Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons (7)

Matt Ryan is having a great season, but he needs to be dinged for one huge issue. Not, it’s not the 1-4 record the Atlanta Falcons own. That’s not on him as the offense is putting up points. The problem with Ryan though is he seems to be allergic to throwing the ball to Julio Jones in the red zone. He could be even better if he used his best player there.

7. Philip Rivers, Los Angeles Chargers (8)

The Los Angeles Chargers are a winning team again as Philip Rivers and the Bolts easily dispatched the Oakland Raiders. Rivers was cool and efficient in this one, going 22-of-27 for 339 yards and two scores. He keeps this team in contention week after week.
