Khalil Mack needs to continue to wreak havoc

There’s no need to rehash how Khalil Mack’s arrival to Chicago came about. All that needs to be said is that the Chicago Bears and their fans appreciate Oakland’s generosity.

Since arriving, Mack has been a wrecking ball. He has 17 tackles, 5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and an interception run in for a touchdown. I believe he also leads the league in selling popcorn.

The Dolphins are in trouble at offensive line. Former Bears guard Josh Sitton signed with Miami but is on injured reserve with a torn rotator cuff. Center Jake Brendel is out with a calf injury and Tackle Laremy Tunsil is in the concussion protocol and may not play on Sunday.

Mack, Akiem Hicks and Eddie Goldman, in addition to the backups, may cause a lot of trouble in the Dolphins’ backfield. Additionally, if the Dolphins fall behind early they’ll abandon the running game in favor of the pass. The Bears pass rushers can just tee off if that happens.

Mack should have another great game. He’ll terrorize some poor backup lineman. When the Dolphins decide to double team him, Hicks will do his thing and get in the backfield. Also, look for Floyd to break out. He’s been quietly doing a good job despite his injured hand. This week should be as good as any to break out. Mack will attract a bulk of the attention so others step up. Don’t get it wrong, however. Mack will also do some damage.
