Here are five head coaches that should consider themselves on the hot seat heading into NFL Week 6 of the 2018 season.

More than ever, some head coaches are beginning to feel the heat on their hot seat when looking at how NFL Week 6 of the 2018 season is already here, and some teams are already digging themselves a deep hole when it comes to making a case for being a contender. Sure, the argument can be made that it’s only been five weeks, and there is still plenty of time to turn things around, but every win counts when it comes to the NFL to avoid coming up just shy come January.

Take a look at the Dallas Cowboys for example when considering the team was in great position on numerous occasions during Sunday’s contest against the Houston Texans, only to come up on the losing end during overtime.

Despite all of the impressive defensive stands to keep the Texans out of the end zone along with Dak Prescott making numerous big plays, there was no excuse for the Cowboys to let this game slip away.

Not to mention, Jason Garrett is now taking plenty of heat for his questionable decision in overtime to punt the football on fourth down when the necessary yardage seemed obtainable with Ezekiel Elliott since that’s one of the benefits of having the star running back. Along with Garrett continuing to be on the list with Dallas coming off a second loss in a row, let’s take a look at some of the other head coaches feeling the heat heading into Week 6, as it’s crazy to think the middle of October is already here.
