NFL Week 6, 2018: 5 Teams on upset alert
By Dan Parzych
Here are the five teams that should consider themselves on upset alert heading into NFL Week 6 of the 2018 season.
From the Baltimore Ravens to the Green Bay Packers, there were a few teams that ended up on the wrong side of major upsets in Week 5, which no one ever wants to be part of. As for what NFL Week 6 has in store, well let’s just say there are a handful of candidates for football fans to keep an eye on once again, whether they want to hear it or not.
After winning just one game over the first four weeks, the Minnesota Vikings finally got a big win in Week 5 when they were able to earn revenge over the Philadelphia Eagles by defeating them in front of their own fans. Back in the offseason, the Vikings made a bold decision by moving on from Case Keenum when considering he had the team on the verge of reaching the Super Bowl last winter, but signing Kirk Cousins was too good of an opportunity to pass on.
His start hasn’t been as exciting as Minnesota fans expected, but hopefully this big win on the road in Philadelphia was just what Cousins needed to finally get the ball rolling, especially with weapons like Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs to work with.
Of course, that’s always easier said than done since the Vikings will be facing plenty of pressure this weekend when the 1-4 Arizona Cardinals come to town after receiving a major wake up call a few weeks back when they were in a similar situation with the Buffalo Bills.
As everyone knows, Minnesota somehow found a way to lose that game, and if they’re not careful enough, the same could take place when facing Arizona. But before getting into more details on that, let’s see which other teams should consider themselves on upset alert heading into Week 6, starting with the Dallas Cowboys.
