4. Houston Texans

Bill O’Brien’s hot seat has cooled down a little bit over the last two weeks since the Houston Texans are coming off back-to-back wins, and will look to stay hot on Sunday with a favorable matchup against the Bills. Back at the beginning of the season, this seemed like a potential matchup between two AFC contenders, and while that may still end up being the case, both teams have a long way to go.

With a healthy Deshaun Watson and J.J. Watt after the two stars missed most of last year, Houston was considered an early candidate to bounce back strong enough in a way they would emerge as a top team to beat in the conference. Compared to the Bills, the Texans seem to be the better team on paper, but as the Vikings and Tennessee Titans have learned the hard way in recent weeks, this is the last team to sleep on all of a sudden.

Buffalo has been one of the most difficult teams to figure out so far in 2018, and if they were to look unbelievable in Houston, would anyone really be all that surprised? One more win is all the Bills need to get back to .500 to put them in better shape to be in the contender conversation when it comes to the AFC, so keep an eye on this game with the Texans.
