The offense plays well again (including Howard)

In the first three weeks of the season, the Chicago Bears offense started out well, only to peter out the rest of the game and struggle to gain a victory. That was until Week 4, when everything the offense did worked. Trubisky, who struggled to hit the open man deep and making the right decision, did everything well. He made all the throws and made the correct decisions on his way to a six-touchdown day.

Tarik Cohen had himself a game, running for 53 yards and having 121 receiving yards and a touchdown. Taylor Gabriel had 104 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Trey Burton had 86 receiving yards and a touchdown.

The only player not to get involved in the fun was Jordan Howard. He only had 11 carries for 25 yards. Once Trubisky got into a roll, though, Nagy went with the hot hand. Some feel Howard may be on the way out. He may or may not be, but he’ll be in Chicago for the rest of the season at least, and he’ll be back on track starting this week.

The Bears will have another all-out effort and result from everyone again in Miami. They need to show that the Tampa game wasn’t a fluke, that this is the offense we should be expecting from now on. Maybe not six touchdowns every week, but an offense that scores a lot of points.

They will do just that.

The offense will again run like a well-oiled machine given the injuries the Dolphins defense is dealing with. Howard will have a big game, as will the aforementioned Robinson. Burton will get his red zone action as well. This will be the offense the fans waited a long time for. A modern-day offense that utilizes a good air and ground attack.

Prediction: Trubisky 22-of-32 for 325 yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and 46 rushing yards; Howard runs for 143 yards and a touchdown; Burton 72 yards receiving, one touchdown
