9. Dallas Cowboys: N’Keal Harry, WR, Arizona State

We’ve seen enough, this experiment isn’t working. The Dallas Cowboys decided to cut Dez Bryant this offseason, and while it made sense considering his price tag, they did a terrible job replacing him. Instead of finding a legitimate threat to scare defenses, Dallas decided to try a committee approach and trot out a bunch of complimentary players like Tavon Austin, Cole Beasley, and Allen Hurns.

The result has been an atrocious start in terms of passing the ball. None of these players are keeping defenses honest and it’s affecting more than just the passing game. Even Ezekiel Elliott is feeling the pressure as loaded boxes have the league’s rushing leader fighting for every single inch he gains.

light. More. 3 Big takeaways from Cowboys Week 5 loss

What’s happening because of this, is Dallas is waisting an elite playmaker in Elliott, as well as a defense that’s played well enough to win the majority of their games this season. In this 2019 NFL Mock Draft, they aim to remedy this problem by landing a legit wideout in N’Keal Harry.

The ASU Product can come in day one and command more respect than anyone in the Dallas receiving corps. In 2017, the 6-4, 213-pound Harry had 1,142 yards and eight scores off 82 receptions. He’s added another 481 yards off 34 receptions in 2018. He’s got a great mix of size and speed and could really open this offense up should the Boys be able to land him.
