10. Cleveland Browns: Rashan Gary, DT, Michigan

One of the biggest surprises early this season has been the phenomenal play of the Cleveland Browns defense. They’ve already won more games this season than the past two years combined, and it could have been even better if the offense — and kicking game — didn’t have the issues they have.

The biggest area of dominance for the defense has been in creating turnovers. No. 4 overall pick Denzel Ward has three interceptions already as he and newly acquired safety Damarious Randall (two picks and a fumble recovery) have been doing their part to keep them in the game.

Cleveland will only get better the more they improve on offense. That’s something that’s already happening with the play of Baker Mayfield under center. The No. 1 overall pick just led them to an overtime win and will only improve the more snaps he gets.

The Browns would love to get him more option as well, but with three wideouts already coming off the board, they decide instead to bolster the defense even move. Here they do that by taking Michigan defensive tackle Rashan Gary.

There was some noise regarding another Michigan player in Cleveland as Jabrill Peppers felt fans weren’t high on him since they tend to lean towards an Ohio State allegiance. While some fans may hate Michigan, they will love any player who comes in and helps them win and putting Gary on the same line as Myles Garrett, Emmanuel Ogbah and Larry Ogunjobi could certainly help them win.
