7. Buffalo Bills: Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama

They have their quarterback. Or at least we think they do. The Buffalo Bills were drafting in this very same spot in the 2018 NFL Draft and used that pick on Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen. The kid has some huge upside as he can flick his wrist and launch it 80-yards down the field.

The problem is, he also has a low floor as he can be wild with his passes and doesn’t seem to know when to take some zip off of the throw. While we don’t know yet whether or not Allen will reach his potential, we do know that the Bills roster needs a lot of work.

Buffalo could use some receivers as Zay Jones and Kelvin Benjamin haven’t been very good this season. There are still some options there, but there are also other holes that may be even more pressing.

For example, none of the Buffalo offensive linemen are playing well. They could use new players across the line, but they start here by landing a left tackle to protect Allen’s blindside. Their choice is Jonah Williams as another Crimson Tide product comes off the board. Williams is the head of the class this season for tackles and can help keep Allen clean as he learns to sit in the pocket and make his progressions.
