If the Oakland Raiders want to salvage their season, they’ll turn their attention to these big-name players before the 2018 trade deadline passes.

Things haven’t gone as Jon Gruden and the Oakland Raiders had hoped so far in 2018. After making some questionable offseason decisions, it’s not exactly a surprise that the Silver and Black currently sit at 1-4 heading into their Week 6 showdown with the Seattle Seahawks.

They’re only win so far came in overtime — against the Cleveland Browns. They’ve sorely missed Khalil Mack, who Gruden felt deserved to be traded after a lengthy holdout. The offense has been productive in terms of yards, but not so much in terms of points. As for the defense, it’s been a hot mess that has fans wondering what went wrong.

At this point, the only hope of salvaging this season may be for the Raiders to make a bold trade for a big-name talent. It’s not like they don’t have the assets after the Mack deal.

But who could be on their radar right now? I’m sure there are plenty of aging veterans Gruden would love to have, but for the sake of this piece, I’ll try to keep it within the realm of possibility.

With that caveat now on the table, let’s take a look at three big-name players the Raiders could be targeting ahead of the 2018 NFL trade deadline. Chances are slim they acquire any of these guys, but crazier things happen all the time in this league.
