The Dallas Cowboys submitted their most dominant performance yet of the 2018 season as they mauled the Jaguars, but what can we take away?

If there’s been one area of concern for the Dallas Cowboys in the 2018 season, it’s been on the offensive side of the ball. Though they haven’t been completely inept with the pigskin in their possession this season, they have not shown any kind of consistency in terms of their performance, so much so that jobs have been called for already.

That was the situation coming into Week 6 as the Cowboys welcomed the Jacksonville Jaguars to town. A matchup with the Jags seemed, on paper, like the last thing that Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and the Dallas offense would want to see. From Calais Campbell up front to Jalen Ramsey in the secondary, Jacksonville boasts one of the NFL’s best defenses.

As it turns out, the Cowboys when they are clicking can look like one of the NFL’s best offenses. And on Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium, they were indeed clicking.

The lack of a No. 1 wide receiver or real receiving depth didn’t matter in Week 6. Prescott looked like a player with renewed confidence, both as a passer and runner, while the line in front of him was up to the task in a big way. That led the way for a big first half that saw the Cowboys jump out to a 24-0 lead going into the break, setting a tone that wouldn’t change in the final 30 minutes.

Obviously with the first-half shutout, the Dallas defense stepped up to the plate as well on Sunday. It was an overall team effort that resulted in a dominant victory to move to 3-3 on the season in Dallas.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at three big takeaways for the Dallas Cowboys after the Week 6 win over the Jaguars.
