1. Jason Myers

It’s not very often in an article such as this that a kicker would be the standout performer of the game, but Myers is. Last week, the Jets ran all over the Broncos, and Isaiah Crowell set the franchise single-game rushing record. He also earned NFL Offensive Player of the Week. Well, with his performance, Myers undoubtedly earned the Special Teams Player of the Week, because it’ll be hard to top that performance.

This game is a perfect example of why you don’t judge a football game by the box score. If you look at a box score and see that a kicker made seven field goals in the game, you might think his team lost because their scoring was limited.

However, this was the seventh player in NFL history to record seven made field goals in one game, and all seven times the kicker with seven field goals was on the winning team. With his three PATs, he’s third all-time among kickers for points in one game with 24, behind Rob Bironas (the all-time record holder for field goals in a game with eight) and Jay Feely.

He’s also tied for 18th all-time among all players for points in a single game.
