The Los Angeles Rams are currently the only undefeated team in the NFL, but the streak can only last. So when will their first loss of the 2018 season come?

Each week, the Los Angeles Rams become an even bigger sensation. With each win, NFL fans at large look forward to their games even more than usual. It also adds a bit of anxiety to the games, too. Through six weeks, the Rams are the only undefeated team in the league and it’s nerve-racking to watch them put that streak on the line.

Each week could be the week where they suffer their first loss. It’s not going to be pretty and their last two wins haven’t been, either. With Week 7 approaching, let’s look at the Rams upcoming schedule and see who might end up breaking their winning streak. It’s only a matter of time, after all.

Weeks 7 against the 49ers holds a pretty obvious result. The Rams have dominated the NFC West thus far and the 49ers should be no problem. They’re without their star quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo, and their defense has been lackluster. Moving on to Week 8, the Rams will face off against Aaron Rodgers and his Green Bay Packers.

Going up against Rodgers is always a challenge. With some injuries plaguing the Rams, there’s a chance of falling to the Packers. Their defense hasn’t been great of late, so the Rams will have to rely heavily on their offense and that always proves to be huge for the team, so the Packers could end up snapping the streak.

There are three other possible matchups that could trip up LA if the Rams are able to defeat the Packers and keep the streak alive. In Week 9, the Rams will go up against the New Orleans Saints and their last meeting was explosive. The two teams battled until the very end with the Rams snapping the Saints eight-game winning streak, so there’s no doubt some bad blood there and that the Saints would love to return the favor.

Two weeks after playing the Saints, the Rams will battle the Kansas City Chiefs. Even though their own streak was just broken in Week 6, the Chiefs are still hot. Patrick Mahomes is the new leader of the team and a perfect foil to Jared Goff. Coupled with both teams having stellar offenses, this game is going to be huge. If no other teams can defeat the Rams before Week 11, the Chiefs easily have the best chance of them all.

The last team might be a bit of an oddball choice, but they’re worth mentioning. If neither of the teams mentioned perviously breaks the streak, there’s always the Philadelphia Eagles. The former Super Bowl champs haven’t been nearly as dominant this season, but played a tough game against the Rams last season.

While both teams have changed dramatically, the Eagles were the Rams’ Kryptonite last year. It’s only fair to include them in this year’s conversation, too. As unpredictable as the NFL has been, the Rams could end up losing to the Seahawks or Cardinals.

The Los Angeles Rams have proved themselves as contenders. They are no longer the one-and-done from last year’s playoffs. In 2018, it’s the Los Angeles Rams world and we’re just living in. As long as they can keep making plays and handling adversity, the Rams have paved their own road to the Super Bowl.
