New England Patriots (4-2) at Chicago Bears (3-2)

Sunday, October 21, 1PM ET

I was starting to think the Chicago Bears were set to turn preseason predictions on their head. However, after their loss to the Dolphins in Week 6, it’s become clear that they’re far from the top contender they were starting to be talked up as.

The Bears are good — there’s no denying that. However, this Chicago offense is far from unstoppable. On top of that, the defense isn’t impenetrable, as we saw when Brock Osweiler made it look average. Imagine what type of success Tom Brady could have against them on Sunday.

Even on the road, the New England Patriots figure to keep the wins rolling in. Brady is on a tear right now, taking what defenses throw at him and turning it into points. He led the Patriots to an impressive win over the then-undefeated Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6. Now, he seems primed for another big victory against the Bears.

Mitchell Trubisky will do his very best to keep Chicago alive. Tarik Cohen may also make a few plays here and there. When all is said and done, though, it won’t be enough to overcome whatever Bill Belichick has up his hoodie’s sleeve.

Prediction: Patriots win 37-33
