32. San Francisco 49ers (32) – Play Monday Night

With all due respect to the San Francisco 49ers, Monday night’s meeting with the Green Bay Packers could turn into an ugly one, although there’s nothing football fans would love more than to see this turn into a competitive game. After losing Jimmy Garoppolo for the season due to a torn ACL, the 49ers knew they would be in for quite the battle trying to adjust on offense without their star quarterback, but nobody expected it to be this bad.

Allowing the Arizona Cardinals to earn their only win of 2018 in Week 6 was a new low for San Francisco, but if this team is going to have any chance of upsetting Green Bay, C.J. Beathard is going to need to have one of his better contests. Turning the football over has been a major concern for the 49ers quarterback, but also Beathard finds himself in the perfect position to take advantage of surprise playing time in 2018.

Since Garoppolo is clearly the quarterback of the future, the rest of this season is the perfect opportunity for Beathard to increase his stock if he can figure out a way to make an impact on offense. Plus, one of the benefits of playing on Monday night is Beathard and the 49ers being in the national spotlight, so it will be interesting to see how he handles the pressure.
