The San Francisco 49ers face a difficult primetime encounter with the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. Here we five players key to their upset hopes.

Few will expect a shock on Monday Night Football when the San Francisco 49ers visit the Green Bay Packers in Week 6.

Battered and bruised as the injuries continue to pile up and coming off a disheartening home loss to the Arizona Cardinals, the 49ers are in far from an ideal position to face the most talented quarterback in the game in Aaron Rodgers on the road.

However, all through the week of build up the 49ers have insisted they are relishing the challenge, and here we look at five players who will be key to their hopes of springing an upset at Lambeau Field.

Alfred Morris

There’s no doubting the toughness of Matt Breida, who was listed as questionable on the final injury report after returning to practice on Saturday, but his ability to make an impact just eight days after spraining his ankle is very much in doubt.

Even if Breida is considered healthy enough to go, Morris will be expected to assume the role of bellcow back with his backfield mate ailing, and his duties will likely extend to catching the ball after a surprisingly impressive performance doing so in Week 5.

Morris had 18 carries for 61 yards and caught three of five targets for 30 yards against the Cardinals. With Breida likely to be limited at best, an even greater impact will be asked of Morris in an offense in which the running backs are an integral part of the passing game. A successful night for the San Francisco offense at Lambeau likely hinges on a successful one for Morris.
