The Seattle Seahawks bullied the Oakland Raiders in their game across the pond on Sunday. The Seahawks are now 3-3.

The Seattle Seahawks steamrolled over the Oakland Raiders in London on Sunday in Week 6, moving to 3-3 on the 2018 season. The final score was 27-3 and the Oakland offense was absolutely smothered by the Seahawks.

Derek Carr and Marshawn Lynch weren’t able to put up any points until the fourth quarter where they manages a measly field goal. This is Seattle’s most dominant win of the season and it displayed the true potential of the Seahawks defense.

With that in mind, let’s get into the players that were the stars for the Seahawks on Sunday afternoon across the pond.

Frank Clark

It’s no secret that Frank Clark is the Seahawks best pass rusher. He recorded a sack every week through the first three games of 2018, but was then held sackless in the last two matchups. He made up for it though, bringing down Carr 2.5 times on Sunday. He finished the game with four combined tackles. Clark also forced Carr to fumble the ball once and defensive tackle Jarran Reed recovered the ball.

I’ve written at length how important it is for the Seahawks to have a strong pass rush to help out their inexperienced secondary. Well, the pass rush showed up big time after being shut out last week by the Los Angeles Rams. Carr was sacked six times and felt pressure many of the other times he dropped back.

Clark is one of the most underrated pass rushers in the league. He recorded 10 sacks in 2016, nine in 2017, and now has 5.5 through six games in 2018. That puts him well on pace to setting his personal best for sacks in a season as well as competing for a Pro Bowl selection. At 25 years old, Clark is hitting his prime and the Seahawks must be delighted by how much he has grown and matured since his rookie season. Clark will be a solid force week in and week out for Seattle.
