20. Dolphins remain undefeated at home

After a 3-0 start, the Miami Dolphins looked like one of the biggest surprise teams in the NFL before going on to lose their next two games, making them one of the most difficult teams to figure out. But after Sunday’s surprise win at home over the Chicago Bears with Brock Osweiler, the Dolphins seem to finally be earning respect from across the NFL since they took down one of the top defenses.

Only time will tell when it comes to seeing whether Osweiler or Ryan Tannehill will suit up for Sunday’s game at home against the Detroit Lions, but Miami should feel confident about their chances either way. Not only could the Lions look a little rusty coming off a bye week, but they too are one of those teams in which nobody really knows what to make of them just yet when looking at all of their inconsistent play through five games.

Matthew Stafford will certainly need to be on top of his game if the Lions are going to have any chance at knocking off the Dolphins on the road since playing at home has helped Adam Gase’s squad play some of their best football. With the team still fired up over their thrilling win over Chicago, expect Miami to stay hot at home against Detroit for a chance to remain undefeated when playing in front of their fans.
