19. Rosen sacked 5+ times

When looking at what the team has been dealing with this season, the Arizona Cardinals deserve some credit for the fight they put up during Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings since they gave Mike Zimmer’s team quite a scare. And if they can carry that momentum over into Thursday, the Cardinals will have a shot to take down the Denver Broncos.

Of course, that’s always easier said than done since Denver is dealing with plenty of their own frustrations, as the team hasn’t won a single game since starting off the year 2-0, and is coming off a fourth loss in a row to the Los Angeles Rams. More than ever, the Broncos need both sides of the football to step up before digging themselves a deeper hole in the AFC standings, and the defense could be in the perfect position to make it a long night for Josh Rosen under center if they apply the necessary pressure.

Facing an inexperienced rookie quarterback sometimes tends to be a dream matchup for opposing defenses, and even though Rosen has shown potential at times, the former UCLA product still has a long way to go before he’s at the level Arizona needs him to be at. From Denver’s perspective, this looks like the perfect bounce back opportunity to finally get back on the winning track, and if they record multiple sacks on Rosen in the process, it makes this helps the defense even more.
