Start

Brandin Cooks at San Francisco– Brandin Cooks currently ranks as the third best fantasy receiver on the Rams behind Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods. Factor his ranking into returning from a concussion with a seven-point fantasy outing last week, and you have some doubting Cooks going into week seven.

San Francisco’s secondary has allowed a whopping 14 touchdowns through six games in 2018, and with Kupp already ruled out for Sunday’s contest, Cooks should see a rise in targets and hopefully, production. Should Cooks be able to remain healthy and the weather magically not turn to another snowy/windy day, Cooks should return to his WR2 production (no lower than 13 fantasy points Weeks 1-4) with a strong another performance.

T.Y. Hilton vs. Buffalo– The availability of Hilton is still in question, yet all signs point to him being ready for Sunday while dealing with a hamstring injury. If/when Hilton is deemed ready to go, he immediately returns to WR2 status thanks to his previous production when healthy, having not scored under double digits in a single game in the four games he was active.

The main appeal for Hilton resides in his volume, as Andrew Luck has developed a strong connection with the receiver (it also helps Luck is on pace to break the single season record for passing attempts). Buffalo holds one of the more sturdy secondaries in the league, yet a healthy Hilton/Luck combo provides trouble for any defense.

Sit

Will Fuller at Jacksonville– Despite the obvious hideous match-up with a daunting Jaguars defense, Fuller hasn’t held up his end of the bargain in the past two weeks. In two home contests against Dallas and Buffalo, Fuller amounted a combined four catches for 48 yards despite scoring 14+ fantasy points the prior three weeks.

Week seven brings a Jaguars secondary that touts the talents of A.J. Bouye and Jalen Ramsey, forming perhaps the toughest corner duo in the league. Much has been made about the Fuller/Watson connection, yet DeAndre Hopkins remains Watson’s go-to guy when he needs a play. Offense looks to be hard to come by in Week 7 as the Texans are on the road against a Jacksonville team looking for redemption.

Sterling Shepard at Atlanta– In the absence of tight end Evan Engram, Sterling Shepard has seen an uptick in production. Yet Shepard has yet to score since week four, providing an average fantasy ceiling for the third year receiver. However, Engram is expected back this week, further depleting Shepard’s value as Engram is used heavily in the slot as well.

Next. NFL Week 7: Predicting Sunday's headlines. dark

Atlanta is an inviting defense for offenses to throw on, yet with the arrival of Engram, the heavy usage of Saquon Barkley, and the capabilities (or lack thereof) of Eli Manning, question marks surround Shepard and his production in week seven. Also, there’s this receiver by the name of Odell Beckham Jr on the other side of the ball who might eat into his targets as well.
