2. The Eagles defense dominates

In their Super Bowl run, the Eagles defense helped lead the way. They were dominant in their bend don’t break mentality (outside of Tom Brady crushing them in the Super Bowl). However, they have been questions this season. Are they an elite defense? Or are they a defense that just clicked at the right time last season and Brady showed they are not good?

Well, in Week 7, the Eagles defense will show the NFL world that they are legit and they are back. Look for the defense to give Cam Newton fits all game as they create pressure and turnovers all day. Fletcher Cox has been having a dominant year and he will add three more sacks today to already punch his ticket to the Pro Bowl. Brandon Graham has started slow, but look for him to add a sack and Michael Bennett as well.

The defensive line won’t be the only unit who does well. The secondary is going to step up in a big way in Week 7. Ronald Darby, who is the teams best cornerback, will have an interception today and lock up whoever he is on. Jalen Mills may give up a big pass or two, but he is poised to have a big game as well.
