The Green Bay Packers are at their bye week with a 3-2-1 record. The break is a good time to highlight some of the best from the first half (or so) of the season.

It’s been quite the roller coaster so far for the 2018 Green Bay Packers. The first half of the season started and ended with Aaron Rodgers heroics. However, it was the games in between the comebacks that have defined the season thus far.

The Packers opened up their historic 100th season by playing their arch-rivals, the Chicago Bears. We will get to this game later, but a 20-point comeback from a one-legged Aaron Rodgers was easily the best performance of his illustrious career.

After blowing a double-digit fourth-quarter lead to the Minnesota Vikings, the Packers got lucky with a tie in Week 2. It was a controversial ending though. The game should not have gone to overtime as we all know.

Week 3 seemed like a game the Packers should have won. The Washington Redskins came off an ugly loss to the Indianapolis Colts. However, it was the Packers who suffered an ugly loss. They attempted another come from behind victory but it just wasn’t meant to be.

Then, in Week 4, the team finally played a complete game. Granted it was against one of the worst teams in the NFL, but the Packers finally looked like a complete team in a shutout win over the Buffalo Bills.

The Packers headed to Detroit to play the Lions in Week 5. Detroit was an inconsistent team coming into the game so we didn’t know which team to expect. Green Bay got the team that upset the New England Patriots earlier in the season. Huge mistakes cost the Packers this game.

Then it was another Aaron Rodgers comeback on Monday Night Football. The 49ers were without their franchise quarterback and star running back, but they managed to keep it close. A win was huge for the Packers before heading into the bye week. Thanks to No. 12, it was accomplished and that’s how Green Bay entered the bye week 3-2-1.
