Washington Redskins (4-2) at New York Giants (1-5)

Sunday, October 28, 1PM ET

What’s already been a bad season for the New York Giants is going to get even worse in Week 8. They’ve been nearly unwatchable outside of Saquon Barkley for most of the season, and it’s unlikely to be a different situation when the Washington Redskins come to town.

It’s surprising how few people are taking the Redskins seriously right now. They’ve quietly proven themselves to be playoff contenders, but still seem to not have the attention of average NFL fans. Instead, people are still waiting for the Eagles to suddenly take over as the leaders in the NFC East. Well, that may not happen if Washington stays on its current trajectory.

As for the Giants, they’re probably wondering when this season will be over already. Eli Manning is nearing the end of an illustrious career, although he’s doing his best to end it with little dignity. It’s basically been a one-man show in the Big Apple, with Barkley doing his best to carry this entire franchise on his shoulders.

It won’t be a complete blowout, but I don’t see the Giants having much success on offense. Especially against D.C.’s underrated defense, Manning may find himself riding the bench by the end of the game.

Prediction: Redskins win 31-10
