30. Oakland Raiders (31)

Just when it looked like things couldn’t get any worse for the Oakland Raiders, they got worse. They entered their Week 7 bye having to try and cope with the sting of being embarrassed overseas by the Seattle Seahawks. They managed just three points in this beatdown, but then afterward got some bad news in regards to one of their better players.

Running back Marshawn Lynch will be sidelined for an extended amount of time as it was discovered he suffered a groin injury. There have even been reports suggesting he could find his way to IR, which would be devastating to a team that would have to rely on former Tampa Bay draft bust Doug Martin in his absence.

While losing Lynch hurts, it’s not like the 1-5 Raiders were going anywhere with him. Currently, they’re one of the worst teams in the NFL and their decision to bring in Jon Gruden as the head coach after a decade away from the game is looking like a foolish decision — it looks even worse when you see the inflated dollar amount he received from the Raiders. Gruden is now coaching to try and prove he shouldn’t be on the hot seat, something that keeps getting harder for him to accomplish.
