Few San Francisco 49ers players stood out in their blowout Week 7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. However, here we look at three who emerged with some credit.

It’s tough to find too many reasons to be positive about the San Francisco 49ers after they were handily beaten 39-10 by the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7.

The Rams took care of business against an injury-riddled 49er team that committed four turnovers and made life extremely easy on the NFL’s best offense.

There were very few players who stood out for a now 1-6 San Francisco group on a miserable day. However, here we look at three who can emerge from the loss with some credit.

George Kittle

Save for running back Raheem Mostert, whose involvement lessened as the game got away from San Francisco, tight end George Kittle was the only other 49ers offensive player to have consistent success against the Rams as he enjoyed another strong day in a breakout campaign.

Kittle combination of athleticism and power after the catch allowed him to come just two yards short of a 100-yard performance on five catches, the tight end accounting for the 49ers only touchdown as he did well to hold on to a throw from Beathard while under pressure from two Rams defenders.

He did let John Johnson strip him of the ball on an interception early in the second half, but overall this was another game that demonstrated why Kittle is a key building block for the Niners in brighter years to come.
