After another thrilling week of action in the NFL, we take a look at potential waiver wire adds for your fantasy football team for Week 8.

Another week of NFL action has passed, signaling the start of the ever-so-tenuous fantasy football cycle of adding players and setting lineups.  If you have any Steelers, Packers, Raiders or Seahawks players, congratulations on surviving the much dreaded bye week.

Yet fantasy football requires us as players and owners to be transparent, much as real life teams function. Football truly is a week to week game, whether it be played on gridiron or through an app on your cracked phone screen. If you emerged victorious in Week 7, I’m sure it’s because you took the advice on last week’s edition of start/sit.

Included in last week’s list was Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky, who finished with a cool 30+ point performance against the Patriots. Both tight ends (O.J. Howard, C.J. Uzomah) proved to be solid streaming plays at a weak position in the lineup.

Week eight plays victim to another four-team bye week, with the Cowboys, Falcons, Chargers and Titans all resting this week. Owners of the likes of Ezekiel Elliot, Melvin Gordon and Julio Jones will need to find that special one-week rental to get them through the bye week.

Must Read. . light

While those who play in four man leagues have the great depth to easily replace those guys, us in regular leagues are often forced to scroll through the endless depths of waivers.

Don’t have the time to go through every player on the waiver-wire? Not to worry, as I have been in the laboratory yet again. So while I search for my goggles (safety first), sit back and enjoy another weekly edition of waiver-wire pickups for fantasy football in Week 8.
