1. WR Odell Beckham Jr.

With apologies to Atlanta Falcons’ wideout Julio Jones, the Giants’ talented performer looked like the best player on the field on Monday night. Dan Quinn’s team never really got a handle on Odell Beckham Jr. throughout the evening. The five-year pro entered the game leading Big Blue with 45 receptions, good for 506 yards but just one score.

By night’s end, the Giants would come up short and watched their record drop to 1-6 on the season. But Beckham Jr. had himself a very solid night and made his share of clutch receptions in the fourth quarter. Quarterback Eli Manning targeted the exciting receiver 11 times and OBJ responded with eight receptions, good for 143 yards and a one touchdown – that coming with five seconds remaining on the clock.

The passing combination did come up short on a two-point conversion attempt – following the team’s first touchdown of the evening – that may have made things quite interesting. Of course, Pat Shurmur’s decision to go for two with his team down 20-12 and plenty of time left raised some eyebrows in the first place.

While it’s been a disappointing year for the Giants, Beckham continues to show why he’s one of the premier talents in the NFL. He leads the club with 53 catches, good for 649 yards and two touchdowns. It’s been a nice return to form for a player that missed the final 11 games of 2017.
