The Oakland Raiders have control of the 2019 NFL Draft after the Amari Cooper trade, but how do they improve with this full 7-round NFL mock draft?

It was abundantly clear before the regular season started that Jon Gruden’s Oakland Raiders were going to be a new kind of animal. What we didn’t know was that said animal would be wild, untamed and, at times, completely reckless. After trading Khalil Mack in the preseason, now the Raiders have traded Amari Cooper. However, both moves landed them first-round picks.

On one hand, you have to question the notion of how the Raiders are operating. It’s become impossible to ignore the notion that Gruden wants to construct this team from the ground up and, to do so, he must first tear it down. At the same time, however, he’s at least going about that the right way by loading up on capital in the 2019 NFL Draft and beyond.

In both the Mack and Cooper trades, Gruden was able to secure first-round picks for 2019, giving him three now in the first 32 selections. What’s more, he also now has two first-rounders in 2020, giving him even more time to work on building what he sees as a winner. But for now, we’re going to look at a 7-round 2019 NFL mock draft to see how he start that.

So what do the Oakland Raiders plan to do with their bevy of picks? Let’s see what they could do in this 2019 NFL mock draft following the Cooper trade. As always, this was compiled using the Fanspeak On The Clock simulator.
