As Week 8 of the NFL season arrives, we evaluate potential start or sit candidates in your fantasy football team’s quest to win.

We are seven weeks through the 2018 NFL season, and if we have learned anything about 2018, it’s to expect the unexpected as fans and fantasy football owners. Patrick Mahomes has the Kansas City Chiefs looking like a Super Bowl contender, while some teams aren’t able to talk the talk and walk the walk, too (Do we need hearing aids or can we not hear Jalen Ramsey anymore?).

As crazy as football on the gridiron has been, fantasy football has been just as unpredictable (or exciting, however you choose to look at it). Saquon Barkley has made good on the hype brought in from Penn State, while Le’Veon Bell continues to be the world’s best magician with a remarkable disappearing act.

Meanwhile, Adam Theilen is on pace to have the greatest fantasy season by a wide receiver in PPR formats.

With the Titans, Chargers, Falcons and Cowboys on bye weeks, tough decisions are in order when it comes to setting your lineup. In last week’s start/sit edition, we received another mixed bag of results. Correct start calls last week included Jared Goff, Tarik Cohen and Brandin Cooks, while some failed sit calls featured the likes of Drew Brees, Austin Ekeler, and Sterling Shepard.

In fantasy football, it’s important to go into each week with a clear view on match-ups. It’s easy to question yourself, and overthinking can sometimes lead to irrational line-up decisions. Fantasy football is a season-long war that is won on smaller battles through each week. Don’t know who to start, or sit? We all ponder these decisions, but luckily for you, some of your questions may be answered here.

So while you decide what candy to leave for trick-or-treaters next week (no pretzels or popcorn, don’t be those people), sit back, relax, and enjoy what is likely to be another salty/sweet weekly start or sit.
