Here are five teams that should consider themselves on upset alert heading into NFL Week 8 of the 2018 season.

Other than maybe the Carolina Panthers coming back on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles, there really wasn’t any major upsets last weekend in the NFL that truly shocked football fans, although that game wasn’t even really an upset since both teams were seen as contenders. However, when it comes to what NFL Week 8 has in store, there are plenty of teams that will need to be extra cautious to avoid being on the wrong end of a potential upset.

Right away, the one game that sticks out the most from this weekend happens to be the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos, as these AFC West rivals will be meeting for already the second time in 2018.

Back in Week 4 when these two teams met, the Broncos seemed like they were on their way to handing the Chiefs their first loss of the season before Patrick Mahomes II helped his team overcome a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter to pull off the 27-23 win.

Whether the results will be similar this time around, only time will tell since there’s a good chance Denver will be playing with a little extra motivation when seeing how close they came to knocking off Kansas City back at the beginning of October. So without wasting any more time, let’s jump right into the latest edition of teams on upset alert for NFL Week 8 by kicking off the discussion with what to expect from the Philadelphia Eagles taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
