With one big move already done, we look at three deals the Dallas Cowboys should make ahead of the 2018 NFL Trade Deadline.

In recent seasons, football teams have been much more willing to trade. We saw many deadline deals in 2017 and they started up again as soon as the regular season ended. That trend is already continuing as we approach the NFL Trade Deadline 2018 and teams like the Dallas Cowboys have already made a big move.

Desperate for a No. 1 wideout, the Cowboys gave a first-round pick to the Oakland Raiders in exchange for Amari Cooper. The No. 4 overall pick out of Alabama in 2015, Cooper is still just 24 years old and has two Pro Bowls under his belt already.

Whether you believe the compensation was too much, or just right, no one can deny that Cooper is suddenly the most feared member of the Cowboys receiving corps. Of course, his ability to help depends on how quickly he picks up the offense. Cooper comes in at a great time as the Cowboys are on a bye week and he can use the extra time to learn his new role.

As for America’s Team, this move alone may not be enough to keep them in the race for the NFC East title. As tight as the division is, they can still make it a contest by making a few more moves before the trade deadline. Here we will look at what three moves they need to pull off.
