NFL Week 8 has already started, but a heavy slate of games still awaits. We predict the 10 biggest headlines that will come from the action on Sunday.

The Miami Dolphins and Houston Texans kicked off NFL Week 8 on Thursday night. Anyone could have predicted the headline, “Dolphins blown out by Texans” given how the two teams had been playing. But now it’s on to Sunday’s action.

As always there is an interesting slate of games on hand. Since we’re essentially at the halfway mark, teams likely know exactly who they are. For the Oakland Raiders, they see tanking as the way to go, while the Giants are apparently looking to do the same with their latest trades.

There is also the other side of the coin to consider, the teams in the hunt in 2018. The Los Angeles Rams are sitting atop the NFL as the lone undefeated team, and it’s hard to say when their first loss will come. Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots are the class of the AFC, but the Baltimore Ravens’ phenomenal defense and much-improved offense have some thinking they could be Super Bowl bound.

On Sunday in the NFC, the New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings are going head-to-head for the first time since the miracle that sent the Vikings to the NFC Championship Game last year   MVP on both sides of the ball is a race worth watching.

There are some interesting storylines already on the table going into Sunday in NFL Week 8, but what will be the stories once things have played out on the field? Here are the 10 headlines we’ll see after Sunday’s action.
