Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver DeSean Jackson is unhappy where he is and requested a trade. Here are the five most likely landing spots.

The 2018 NFL Trade Deadline is approaching quickly and we have already seen some moves happen. The biggest has been the Dallas Cowboys landing Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper for a first-round pick. If DeSean Jackson has his way, that won’t be the last wideout to switch teams via trade this season.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver is unhappy with his role and according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, he’s requested a trade. Jackson got off to a hot start with the Bucs this season but feels like he isn’t being properly utilized as of late.

He’s probably also not thrilled with their current standings. They’re falling behind quickly in the NFC South and with Jackson turning 32 years old this season, he surely wants another shot at a playoff run.

Whether the Bucs will grant this request or not is unknown. If they do decide to move him, here are five teams that could make a play for his services.

5. Cleveland Browns

This one may be a tough sell for the Bucs if they are wanting to get DeSean Jackson’s input on where he goes. But as far as the destination, there aren’t many teams who can use a player like DeSean Jackson as much as the Cleveland Browns could.

Currently, the Browns are struggling to find consistency on offense and a lot of that is due to injuries to the receiver position. Ricardo Louis was lost before the season began, and they later saw Rashard Higgins and Derrick Willies go down with injuries.

The lack of playmakers at the position has been evident as rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield is having to spread the ball between Jarvis Landry, tight end David Njoku, and a highly-inconsistent Antonio Callaway.

Jackson would easily be their biggest deep threat should the Browns land him. Again, the issue may be Jackson being unwilling to join a team with a losing record. Having said that, the Browns have been playing well enough they could make a run in the second half — especially if they added someone as talented as Jackson.

At least here, Jackson would know that Mayfield would be willing to air it out to him.
