1. RB Alvin Kamara

A year ago, the 2017 third-round pick from the University of Tennessee added an extra dimension to the New Orleans Saints’ already-explosive offense. Running back Alvin Kamara racked up 1,554 yards of total offense, scored 13 touchdowns and was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

This season, the talented performer is off to another impressive start. And his versatility was on display on Sunday night at Minnesota in the Saints’ 30-20 victory. Both Kamara and fellow running back Mark Ingram totaled 13 carries, the latter gaining 45 yards and one touchdown. There were also a team-best seven catches for 31 yards and another score. The talented running back accounted for both of the team’s offensive touchdowns in the 10-point victory.

This season, Kamara has already scored nine touchdowns in the team’s seven games. He’s rushed for 408 yards and seven touchdowns. He also ranks second on the club with 47 receptions, good for 393 yards and two more scores. Add in a pair of two-point conversions and the 2017 Pro Bowler is second on the club with 58 points.
